A traditional worship service is offered on Sundays at 10:00 am in the sanctuary. During this service, we worship our Lord in a traditional United Methodist format which includes music, children’s time, recitation of historic creeds, a message based on scripture, and praying, including the Lord’s Prayer. We are following the CDC guidelines of social distancing, face coverings, hand sanitizing, and disinfection of the church building. Our sanctuary also has 2 ALEN air filtration units using HEPA filters to keep filtered air circulating.

DWe celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. We invite all to partake of the bread and grape juice with us. As we say in our Invitation to the Table, “Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin, and seek to be at peace with one another.” If you can say you do or have done these three things, you are welcome to receive communion.

We also have an online worship service on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/faithumclexington. The livestream service premieres at 10:00 AM on Sundays and can be viewed at any time.

ICome dressed as you are comfortable to worship. Our congregation wears anything from jeans and nice tops/shirts to suits and dresses.

Nursery is available during worship; children are also welcome in the service. We provide an activity bag to help children in the service who may have shorter attention spans.

We don’t have Sunday School at present. We offer opportunities for Christian learning through several bible studies and our weekly youth group meetings.
